The Re-Emergence: Out Now!
The day has finally come, and I couldn’t be more excited.
And so here it is, my first ever book launch!
I am pleased to announce that my debut space-opera novella, The Re-Emergence, is now available for purchase from Amazon in ebook and paperback formats. You can order your copy using the button below:

It’s an amazing feeling, finally getting to this point in my writing journey. I started planning and writing the Augment Saga in September 2019. At that time I expected it to be just a couple of books, but after a while I realised there was a lot more potential to tell the story that’s been stuck in my head in snippets for the last few decades. It was while I was still going through the first draft of From the Grave of the Gods that I made the decision to write a companion novella that would help flesh out and contextualise the saga a bit more - a process which I have documented here on my blog. And so, The Re-Emergence was born.
The story follows a vibrant cast of characters from the Maldaccian Empire as they come together to prevent the return of an ancient species which drove their people to the brink of annihilation. The book features all that you’d expect from a space opera: it’s got big ships, space battles, intense action, sentient AI, some humour, and hints of deep worldbuilding. At the same time, it touches on themes of found-family, betrayal, and what constitutes a life-form.
If you would like a taster of the book, you can read the Prologue here:
I am immensely happy with how this very first entry in the Augment Saga has turned out. I hope you enjoy it too and it excites you for the release of my full-length novel, From the Grave of the Gods, later this year.
I’m under no illusions that, as this is my first published work, it’s not going to be perfect. I’ve learned a lot through the writing process and I’m proud of how far I’ve come already. But there’s always more to improve on. So whether or not you enjoy the book, I thank you for your support, and I ask that you please leave a review on Amazon and/or Goodreads. Leaving reviews is one of the best ways to support authors.
