Out Now: The Shadow of Arcadia

The Shadow of Arcadia: The Augment Saga Book Two is out now!

It’s been a long old journey, but I am please to announce that The Shadow of Arcadia: The Augment Saga Book Two is out now and available to purchase in ebook from Amazon, and in paperback from all retailers. Signed paperbacks and book swag are available to UK residents from my store. It is also available to read for FREE via a Kindle Unlimited subscription.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout the process of bringing this book to publication—and there have been a lot of you! Whether that’s through reviews, sales, shares, likes, reposts, beta-reads, editing, and ARC reading. You’re all brilliant and I truly appreciate you.

The Shadow of Arcadia came up nearly fifty pages longer than From the Grave of the Gods—don’t let the page count listed on Goodreads fool you, it’s actually 514 pages! I don’t know how Amazon counts pages on ebooks, but that’s where Goodreads is getting its information and it’s not quite right. Oh well.

This book picks up twenty-three years after the events of The Flight of the Aurora, where Captain James Fowler, the test pilot on the IXS-17 Aurora must foil a terrorist plot by a dangerous faction of isolationists and alien worshippers which is led by a mysterious figure from James’ past. This time, James isn’t alone. In the years since becoming the mission commander for the Aurora under Captain Austin Queen, the fleet has grown. After the Martian city, Arcadia Landing suffers a devastating attack, Captains Erin Pritchard, Nate Rifkin, and April Rose-Hartley join him in an effort to bring those responsible to justice.

I really hope you enjoy this book and that it leaves you excited for the next installment in the series. The next two books will finish off what I’ve come to refer to as “Era One” of The Augment Saga. Those will be Legacy of the Gods and the as-yet unnamed sequel to The Re-Emergence.

As always, once you’ve finished reading The Shadow of Arcadia, I would really appreciate if you left a review, whether that’s on Amazon, Goodreads, The Storygraph etc… They’re so important to help authors like me get the word out about our books. It only takes a moment and it doesn’t have to be long, but know that whatever you thought of it, it means the world to me.
